Inherit The Unsung

As a species, we now know what isolation and social distancing feels like.

There are places in this country which have been in isolation for millennia. Monuments who have been socially distanced by their own people to the point of irrelevance.

Many have vanished. Some still hold strong.

This World Heritage Day, let’s begin an endeavour to end their isolation too.

While those on the frontline fight the battle with Corona, let’s search out these forgotten gems, and let's plan such that when we can go back to meeting and embracing our loved ones, we also make a visit to at least one like these.

Step into their womb, and tell them we have not forgotten.

My list has no intention of achieving a complete archive. I wish it to forever be incomplete, but numerous.

For that, I ask you to tell me about these places that you may know of, write me a paragraph and allow me to share it. Send a photo if you can. Preferably clicked by you or attributed honestly.

And of course, spread the good word.

For that which you identify with, forges your identity.
Your identity, defines your history.

Kyunki, jo aap mehsoos karo, vahi aapka itihaas…
